Happy Saturday, readers! And Happy Spring Break to me! My tropical destination this year is none other than Lawrence, Kansas. And the latest report from my boyfriend: 6 inches of snow expected this weekend. Joy!


I'll admit that I'm quite jealous of all my friends who'll return next week bronzed, beautiful and relaxed. But I am really looking forward to my trip and personally, I think it's better than any resort in Mexico! I haven't seen Mikey since my last visit almost five weeks ago and I'm counting down the days.


But, until then (Wednesday) I'm headed home to Mercer Island for a few glorious days with my parents, brothers and dogs. Have a great weekend!! xo
