jewelry inspiration [satomi kawakita]
I get far too excited inside when I find a new jewelry designer that I l-o-v-e. The problem with most of them is that I can't afford even the simplest piece in their collections. And while nothing's different in this case (sigh), I'm just crazy for Satomi Kawakita's bracelets & rings. I can't get enough of the use of natural gems & mismatched metals, and I'd proudly stack those rings on my fingers any day.
How was your long weekend? I enjoyed a short but sweet visit from my best friend from Wisconsin. It's always nice to catch up on girl talk and get a little taste of home from the one who knows you best. Happy Memorial Day!

I have to agree, I hate falling head-over-heels for gorgeous jewelry that is soo not in my budget lol.

I love these. There is something very endearing about the more natural "unperfect" looking gems. Glad you had a great weekend with your bestie. :)
I love how whimsical this is! I love your blog- it is beautiful and inspiring. I am adding it to my list!
I definitely have trouble buying the beautiful homemade jewelry that I love. But I decided recently to ONLY buy pieces that are handmade- so I buy little because its $$$$- but what I buy is truly quality and pieces I LOVE! Great Post!
Beautiful designs! nice share.
